Privacy notice

Who we are. acktvt is a product line of Prowessz Consulting Services LLP, India ("Prowessz", "we"). For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Prowessz is the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through this website.

What we collect and why

• Enquiry forms (Data Protection Suite and Business Management Suite pages): your name, organisation, work e-mail, phone number, your answers to the short questions, and anything you write in the comment box. Purpose: to reply to your enquiry, arrange a walkthrough and, if you ask for one, set up a trial. Basis: your consent, given by ticking the box before you send.
• WhatsApp and e-mail you send us: the contents of your message and your contact details, for the same purpose.
• Website visits: this site is a static page hosted on GitHub Pages. We do not set cookies and do not run analytics or advertising trackers. The hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and operations. Fonts and images are served from this site itself.
• Explainer videos: the videos are hosted on YouTube. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play; when you do, the video is served from YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and Google's privacy policy applies to that playback.

Who processes it

Form submissions are relayed to our inbox by FormSubmit (a form-to-e-mail service) and stored in our business e-mail. WhatsApp messages are handled by WhatsApp under its own terms. We do not sell personal data and do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept for as long as we are talking, and for up to 24 months after the last contact so that we can pick up the conversation if you come back. If you become a client, your details move to our client records under the engagement letter. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time.

Your rights

You may ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, withdraw your consent, or nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. Write to acktvt@prowessz.com; we respond within the time the Rules allow and usually much sooner. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
